You qualify if you work remotely under an employment/service contract with a foreign company or you are a partner in a foreign legal entity. Key documents include: passport, proof of accommodation in Moldova, valid medical insurance, and a legalized/apostilled criminal record (translated to Romanian or English). You must provide bank statements showing monthly income equal to at least 18× Moldova’s forecast average salary for the year (about 3× average salary per month) for the last 6 months. Partner applicants must also prove the foreign company is not insolvent/in liquidation. Applications are typically reviewed within 30 days. The permit is issued for the requested period up to 2 years and can be extended.
